Armando is a doctoral student at Chestnut Hill College's PsyD Program. He has prior counseling experience at a variety of sites, including Drexel University Counseling Center, Chestnut Hill College Psychological Services Clinic, and CW Psychological Services.

Armando's professional and personal development has instilled in him values for social justice and compassion for marginalized identities. As a queer person, he has developed an appreciation for the vast diversity in life. His queer mentors, teachers, and historical figures have taught him to appreciate and love life in all of its shapes, colors, and sizes. As a therapist, he incorporates these lessons into my work clients, who are on their own journeys of self-discovery and identity development. He believes that there is no "right way" to life, which causes him to be very open and accepting of other lifestyles, cultures, and attitudes. This acceptance has evolved and grown into advocacy and solidarity with other marginalized identities over recent years. Given our current historical moment, Armando  often feels grounded in his core identities of humanism and feminism. As a queer person, he believes his approach to therapy is heavily influenced by the values instilled in queer history, which include acceptance, radical self-love, and love of community. These values and characteristics are integral to who Armando is, both as a human being and as a therapist.
